It began in 1977 when the first Grisport shoe was produced by the Italian brothers Grigolato. Thus was born Grisport as a specialized manufacturer of handmade shoes for hiking and leisure activities. Today, Grisport employs more than 2,000 workers and the factory covers an area of 40,000 square meters.
Grisport uses high-performance materials, leathers and membranes. Yet the traditional experience of the footwear trade remains present in production to provide each shoe with the quality and details of a handmade product.
An ongoing mission of Grisport is to strive for hiking shoes with the most comfortable fit. When producing Grisport's quality footwear, beautiful design and technological features are not forgotten either, but comfort always remains at the forefront.
Grisport has strict standards when it comes to sustainability and in selecting raw materials. The shoes are produced on solar energy. The roofs of the factory halls cover 15,000m2 of solar panels. This provides 70% of the power needed during production.
